Salunda develops robust condition monitoring solutions and specialises in the commercialisation of advanced sensor technologies.
The business was originally a spin-out from the Physics Department of Oxford University and now holds a portfolio of forty patents, of which fifteen are granted. The company has delivered solutions for use in very harsh environments, for example monitoring turbine blades. This technology has been packaged into safety-critical, high value applications around the oilfield.
Their technology has been proven in highly demanding aerospace, oilfield and motorsport applications, and certified for intrinsic safety and offshore use.
Features include excellent stability at extremes of pressure, temperature and salinity, plus superior lifetime and reliability. Salunda’s monitoring solutions are non-invasive, contactless and have no moving parts.
